About the Practice

Dr. Mark Schecker has provided advanced allergy, asthma and immunology care to the Grand Strand since 1995. He has treated thousands of the community’s residents, as well as visitors, for allergies, asthma, and a broad spectrum of symptoms and medical conditions.


Dr. Schecker’s optimal care program provides patients with direct access to diagnostic expertise for both chronic disease management and specialist-level care for acute illness, asthma flares, sinus infections, and bronchitis, at a predictable monthly cost.


We are currently accepting new patients. Medicare and Tricare are accepted through traditional billing.


Effective June 1, 2026, the practice will no longer be "in-network" with private pay insurers.

PLEASE NOTE: This practice is OUT OF NETWORK with ALL Medicare Replacement/Advantage Policies as well as Medicaid and ALL EPO products.

Allergy Shot Policy

Allergy shots will be given by APPOINTMENT ONLY. We do not accept walk-ins for allergy shots.


Please call 843-293-0093 for an appointment for an allergy shot during regular business hours. All patients on allergy shots must remain INSIDE THE OFFICE ONLY, for 30 minutes. There are no exceptions. If you are unable to wait inside the office for 30 minutes, please reschedule. Failure to abide by this policy will lead to discontinuation of your allergy immunotherapy shots.
